Brownies

From the kitchen of Doris Kolman, Washington, Iowa
Ingredients
1 (19 oz.) box brownie mix
1 c. sour cream
1 (16 oz.) container pecan frosting
1 c. butterscotch chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease one 9x9 inch baking pan.

Mix brownie mix according to box directions omitting 1/2 of the oil required.

Stir in the sour cream and pecan frosting. Spread evenly in prepared pan.

Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven, or until done. Be very careful not to over bake.

About 5 minutes before brownies are done, remove from oven, and sprinkle butterscotch chips and nuts over the top. Place back in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove pan from oven, and use a spatula to spread the melted chips and nuts over the top to frost the brownies.
Comments
You may vary the type of chips and frosting mix you use. Or use the caramels instead of chips.
