| Ingredients |
1 box banana pudding 5 c. milk 6 T. butter 5 eggs, separated 5 bananas 2 c. sugar 2 T. vanilla flavoring 4 T. cornstarch 1 box vanilla wafers |
| Directions |
Mix milk, eggs, butter, sugar, vanilla flavoring and cornstarch. Heat until boiling, stirring occasionally. Cook until thickening like pudding (not too thick).
Slice bananas and layer in casserole dish. Place layer of vanilla wafers on top of bananas and repeat for 3 or 4 layers. Pour pudding mixture over them.
Make meringue with egg whites and pour over bananas and pudding.
Brown in oven for about 5 to 10 minutes. |
