2010 Gatherings with Purpose finalists

In 2010, the Gatherings team received countless inspiring stories for the Gatherings with Purpose Giveaway. Although it was tough, we selected five finalists, whose stories were up for the grand prize - $2,500 for the person who submitted the story and a matching $2,500 donation for his or her cause.

After two weeks of public online voting, a winner was crowned: Shayla Williby of Oberlin, Kan. Her story, and the other finalists' stories are listed below.
